Paul .I. Enenche is one of the most popular and well known humble Man of God in Nigeria. He is the founder and General overseer of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Abuja, Nigeria.
Education and Early Life
Paul Enenche was born in Otokpo on June 4, 1968, to the family of Chief D.E Enenche, the Supreme ruler of Orokam in the Local Government District of Ogbadibo. He is the younger brother of Gen. John Enenche, a former Nigerian defense spokesman. He belongs to the Idoma ethnic group in Benue State, Nigeria. He went into service full time after embarking on a personal retreat on the hills of a plateau in Jos. He set aside his medical degree and went to Abuja to set up a church in 1996.
Career
The Dunamis International Gospel Center was established on November 10, 1996. The first Sunday service was held at the Abuja Center for Arts and Culture, District 10. Church services were held for two weeks before the church moved to the Sheraton Abuja Hotel and Towers, where service were held for six months. The church moved to its current location – District 1, Garki Abuja – in June 1997. The church holds six services every Sunday and two every Wednesday.
On 14 September 2014, the church laid the foundation stone for the construction of Lord’s Garden, the church’s international headquarters in Abuja. Bishop David Oyedepo has arrived to lay the groundwork for the project. The International Conference Center and the Dome of Glory in Lord’s Garden accommodate seventy-five thousand people. The event was a gathering of several branch churches across FCT, Abuja and its environs who had come to take advantage of the flair laying the foundations for such a very modern project.
Personal Life
Paul Enenche is married to Becky Enenche, who is a a medical doctor and pastor. They met while at school, Becky was his spiritual daughter. Their love grew stronger and they got married in 1994.
